To ensure the best possible experience, we have established certain client protocols that we ask you to follow. These protocols have been designed to ensure the safety and well-being of both our clients and our staff.

**Jazz Hands Therapeutic Massage - Business Policy and Procedures**


*Arrival to Your Massage:*


Please ensure that you arrive for your appointment 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows sufficient time for new clients to fill out the appropriate client form, change, and prepare for the service. All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule, and early arrival ensures a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is unavoidable, your service may be shortened to keep on schedule, and the original treatment time may still be charged.


*Cancellation Policy and Fees:*


Your therapy times are exclusively reserved for you. To respect our scheduling policies, kindly notify us at least 24 hours in advance for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a $50 fee ($30 for a half-hour session). Clients who miss appointments without prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. A credit card or gift certificate is required to guarantee a reservation, and charges will only be applied in case of a cancellation or no-show.


*Late Arrival Policy:*


Late arrivals may not receive an extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival, we may accommodate a partial or full appointment at our discretion. The original reservation fee will still be charged.


*No Show Policy:*


We understand that unforeseen events occur, but we kindly request that you call if you cannot keep your appointment. Clients who miss appointments without prior notification may be charged in full for the scheduled service.


*Informed Consent:*


Prior to each massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed, and new clients will be asked to sign a treatment consent form. Clients who have not visited in at least a year may also be required to fill out this form.




To secure your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling as far in advance as possible. A credit card or gift certificate is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Details of our cancellation policy are provided below.


*Scope of Practice:*


Our therapists are licensed professionals adhering to the highest standards of the American Massage Therapy Association. While we provide manual techniques and adjunctive therapies, we do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions. Clients should consult a medical doctor for specific medical conditions.


*Respect for Client Needs and Boundaries:*


Our therapists are adaptable to client preferences, adjusting pressure, temperature, and other factors as requested. Clients have the right to leave on clothing for comfort, refuse specific massage methods, or stop the massage at any time. Modesty is always maintained.


*Confidentiality and Conversation:*


All client visits and conditions are treated confidentially. We will not discuss your visit outside our staff without your express permission. Conversations during the massage will be guided by the client's direction.


*Existing and New Medical Conditions:*


Clients are responsible for informing the therapist of any ongoing medical treatment and obtaining written permission from relevant healthcare providers. Changes in health conditions should also be communicated.
